Jason will have plenty of time to soak in these moments with his only son and to spend more time with his wife and daughters Keely and Kendyl while he enjoys a well-deserved respite from the road.
After a busy year on the super successful “They Don’t Know Tour” with Chris Young, Kane Brown and Dee Jay Silver, and that tragic show at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas, we feel certain that Jason’s voice, body and mind could use a little break.
Right now, his calendar isn’t showing any dates until April when fair and festival season kicks off, which leaves a few months that Jason could possibly be working on new music. He typically releases a new album every two years and it takes a little while to get songs written or selected, then to get into the studio, so this break could give him the time he needs to give us a follow-up to 2016’s “They Don’t Know,” which produced three No. 1 hits, in 2018.
But, you know, no pressure Jason.
