Brett Eldredge Sings to Nearly 5 Million People at Chicago Cubs Parade

By MelissaOnK923

Wednesday night was a big night for a lot of country artist. I mean it was the 50th Annual CMA Award Show. But for Brett Eldredge, it was a HUGE night. His beloved Chicago Cubs won the World Series for the first time in over 100 years. Eldredge skipped out on the big award show to be at the big game and posted a video on Instagram Wednesday morning expressing his love for his fans and the CMA’s but also his love for the Chicago Cubs. He wrote a song that he sang in that video stating “Go Cubs go, go Cubs go, hey Chicago whatta ya say, Cubs are gunna win today.” (video is below) But yesterday, not only did Brett get to parade around Chicago with the Cubs baseball team, carrying the World Series Trophy, but he got to sing the song he made to the 5 million people watching the parade in downtown Chicago changing the words to his song just a little…”Hey Chicago whatta ya say, Cubs are World Champs Today”

A parade with 5 million of the best fans and a extremely special ending…love this crew, love you all, GO @Cubs GO!
