cubsThis is crazy! There are bars in Chicago, near Wrigley Field, that are charging up to $250 PER PERSON to get into the bar to watch the Cubs at the World Series ON TV. In some bars, the cover charge includes drinks and a buffet but no guarantee of a seat where other bars are charging less, but it is just a cover charge and only gets you in the door. To guarantee a four-seat table, that’ll cost you an extra around $500 at Chicago bars like Old Crow Smokehouse, Deuces and The Diamond Club and John Barleycorn (according to hastickets.com). This started last week at The Cubby Bear bar, that is across the street from Wrigley Field, when people where going crazy over a $100 cover charge to get in the door but that is now looking like chump change compared to the other bars that have more than doubled that to watch the big games.
